The UK is shifting towards a fully digital immigration system, and as part of this transition, international staff and students will soon be required to manage their immigration status and documentation online. This change aims to streamline the process and improve accessibility.
If you have already created an eVisa, no further action is needed. However, for those who have not yet set up an account, the following resources are available to guide you through the process:
Starting 1 January 2025, Biometric Residence Permits (BRP) will no longer be valid. Instead, digital eVisas will be the primary means of proving immigration status in the UK. To ensure smooth travel and avoid any disruptions, we strongly recommend setting up your eVisa account as soon as possible.
