If you're anything like us and you've still not bought all of your Christmas Presents and you've left some (or maybe even all) of your Christmas shopping till last minute, we're here to help!

As students, we know that the budget somehow gets lower and lower the closer Christmas gets, but you still want to treat your loved ones to a heartfelt, thoughtful gift... then we've got the solution for you!

Here are our top 3 last-minute, budget-friendly Christmas presents to help you sort all those last minute gifts!

1. Gift baskets!

Something that I've been doing for years is gift baskets! I find that you're able to find loads of little bits and bobs for a very affordable pric, so give yourself a budget to stick to, and start shopping.

And to make things easier, I've compiled a list of cheap ideas of small gifts you can add to yours:

  • Warm, cosy blanket
  • Hand warmers
  • Plushy keyring
  • Candle
  • Lip balm
  • Slippers
  • Sweet treats

Here's a tip – pick a theme and stick to it! Whether you go for the classic Christmassy red and white, or a personal interest of theirs, a gift basket can be tailored to anyone! Then grab a basket, some tissue paper, and you're all set!

2. TkMaxx-imise on bargain gifts!

Personally, I think that one of the best, budget-friendly places to shop is TkMaxx in town (not sponsored xox) and I'm ashamed to say I forgot about it till recently!

And let me tell you something... it is ESPECIALLY good for Christmas gifts!

You can find all sorts in there for a very decent price! From discounted, high end perfumes and aftershaves, to sunset lamps, to all the types of clothing you can dream of, there really is something for all your loved ones!

Even if you don't come out with any gifts, I guarantee you'll come out with some ideas.

3. DIY prezzies!

Put your DIY skills to the test and make a gift for someone! A heartfelt, homemade gift always warms the heart, so why not give it a go?

Whether you bake a cake or some cookies, or make something, it's the perfect way to tailor a gift to someone!

A couple of ideas to satisfy your DIY mind are...

A blind date with a book

One for the book lovers; buy a book that your loved one will like, wrap it up and decorate it, adding some post it notes, pens and stickers to jazz it up!

Handmade fridge magnets

Head to your local craft shop and grab everything you need; clay, magnets, and paint, and let your creative juices run wild.

They're so easy to personalise for anyone!

Personalised keychains

Another one that takes a trip to the craft shop!

Make a personalised keychain for your loved one, perhaps including their favourite colours, jewels, and/or initials!

Make a homemade photo book

Pick some pictures from your favourite moments together, print them off at home or at a printing shop, adding stickers, coloured tape, and some heartfelt notes to give it that personal touch!

So there you have it, 3 last-minute, budget-friendly Xmas presents that can be adapted to cater to any ages or interests... thank us later!

Oh, and next year, maybe do yourself a favour and start shopping on Black Friday!
