Hey!
We are the first EVER Disability Society here at Salford SU. The aim of our society is to educate and spread awareness around visible and hidden disabilities, and to create a safe and friendly environment where anyone and everyone feels welcome.
Our committee was established by a group of disabled students, with a passion and determination to make the university a better place for the disabled community.
Our events will include a mix of crafting, coffee meet ups, games nights, educational talks, quizzes and karaoke!
We are a very approachable society, with first-hand experience. So please feel free to reach out to us with any questions!
Our society meetups will be on a Monday evening from 6pm - 8pm in The Pillars, University House.
Access for That End for all events will be from the back of University House which is the wheelchair friendly entrance.
