About

Hello and welcome to the Sustainability and Environment Society. We are quite a new society at Salford, set up by Master’s students looking to provide a space for students to come together to learn more about and discuss issues such as climate justice and living sustainably.

We are open to students of any discipline and are particularly keen to get undergraduate students involved.

Our aims are:

1. Helping students to live more sustainable lives.
2. Providing students with opportunities to learn practical skills and experience in areas from conservation to environmental management.
3. Raising awareness of climate change and sustainability issues across the globe.
4. Promoting accessible, sustainable practices and knowledge.
5. Providing a hub for students to connect, support each other and discuss issues around the environment and the climate emergency.
