About Us

The Student Scout and Guide Organisation (SSAGO) is a non-uniformed organisation that enables you to continue or begin your Scouting or Guiding whilst at College or University.

Our SSAGO club generally meets at least once a week (Thursday’s) during term time with activities being broadly classified into three categories: adventure, social and community. SSAGO also provides a link to local Scouting and Guiding to enable members to continue or begin working within their section whilst at university.

Here are some reasons to join us in Salford SSAGO: make more friends in the Scouting and Guiding Families, National and International Events (nationally we have 3 rallies and the national SSAGO Ball), develop and lead your adventure and journey.

We are here to make sure that your journey through Scouting and Guiding continues whilst you are at University!
