About Us

The prestigious Level Up Law Society returns better than ever standing strong as the official Law Society of the University of Salford. The Level Up Law Society is the must have guide into the legal world throughout your academic year. We aim to support you with legal events and study sessions to ensure you reach your maximum potential before completing this academic year. So, if internal and external mooting, visiting the supreme court and murder mysteries sound like your cup of tea, sign up now!

Primarily we aim to support fellow law students and create a learning community to aid us through our degree. Together we will practise and learn new legal skills through activities such as Mooting, debating, mock trails and court trips, along with educational talks with lecturers, past students, professionals and future employers in the legal field. We will also be providing careers advice to help you navigate your options post your degree, providing information on Vacation schemes, mini pupillages and securing work placements outside of traditional legal paths.

We will be holding multiple social events through the year beginning with our initiation during Freshers Weekend. We would love for you to get involved, engaging with the university’s law society is extremely beneficial for your CV especially when securing legal placements and building an impressive application for employers.
