About Us
We are an Open CO-ED Level 2 team and a Level 1 Team, consisting of both men and women, that has existed for a number of years now.
Doesn’t matter what gender you are, what fitness or flexibility skills you have we will welcome people of all abilities and cater for your needs!
Previous competitions consist of having a successful 2016, becoming Division Champions at Legacy, Cardiff. In 2015 achieving 1st place at Future Cheer Circus Spectacular and 5th place in Legacy University Nationals. In 2014, we gained 3rd place in our first level 2 competition at Future Cheer Circus Spectacular; following on from our incredible 2nd place in 2013 along.
From then we have grown in size massively and now have a Level 1 and a Level 2 squad as of 2019. Our most recent accomplishments is our Level 2 CO-ED squad coming 1st at the Future Cheer Competition in 2019 and with that successful win both squads are eager to train to take home another WIN!
What do we do?
Our sessions consist of stunting, gymnastics & tumbling, conditioning, dancing, and of course cheer. We are passionate about our squad and love to give 100% in every performance we do! Sessions are open to all regardless of experience or fitness levels. So don’t let the idea of not being flexible, strong or having no experience at all put you off joining cheer.
We also fundraise together through bake sales, bag packing and other small opportunities to help us go to competition.
Your first two sessions are always free so you can give cheer a go! After those you can gain membership through our website by clicking the 'Join Group' box at the top of the page.
New members fee is £65 for the year. Uniforms are not included in the price of the membership.

Do we do Social Events?
Socialising as a team is very important to us! We have already got many socials planned for the next academic year so be prepared for a lot of crazy fun!
Nights out, meals, fancy dress, day trips and parties are just some of the things to look forward to this coming year as part of Salford University's Cheerleading team!
