"I'm Ahmad Ali, currently serving as your Business students' officer while on a sabbatical from my Business Management studies at the University of Salford. Having completed my second year, I became deeply involved in university life, particularly with the Salford Business School (SBS) and the Students' Union (SU), where I served as the Sports Clubs and Societies VO. Being active in various societies has given me a well-rounded perspective on student life, and through these experiences, I’ve come to understand the unique challenges students face. This insight motivated me to step into a leadership role to advocate for meaningful change.
This year, my primary focus is on addressing the cost-of-living crisis and tackling student loneliness. Outside of my duties, I am passionate about gardening, politics, and reading, which I find enriches my perspective and fuels my commitment to student welfare. My goal is to ensure that every student feels supported and empowered during their time here, and I am eager to work with all of you to create a more inclusive and supportive environment."
